Ordering

Please ensure that you order sufficient material for your requirements as it is not always possible to order more tiles from the same batch. After selecting your products from the range available, you will proceed to the checkout area. You will be passed to a secure online payment authorisation service that will process your card details and obtain payment from your card provider. We will send you written confirmation of your order by e mail but this email will not constitute acceptance of your order. We accept your order at the time we dispatch the ordered products to you and it is at that moment that a contract for sale is made between you and us. All our contracts are concluded in English although contracts for sale will neither be filed by us nor accessible to you. Your order will be based upon our product prices and delivery charges in force at the time you submit your order inclusive of VAT. If the prices or charges are different from those published this will brought to your attention before we accept your order and will give you the option to cancel your order before we accept it. Please note acceptance of any order is at our discretion.

Title of Goods

All risk in goods shall pass to you the customer on delivery, but the goods shall remain the property of Reed Harris until paid for in full. If you sell or otherwise dispose of the goods before paying for them, you shall hold the proceeds of the sale on trust for Reed Harris. If you cease trading for any reason, either through the appointment of a receiver or the issuing of a winding up order, or through going into voluntary liquidation, you shall place the goods at the disposal of Reed Harris, who shall be entitled to enter your premises in order to remove the goods concerned.

Ordering Samples

A Sample Request option is available on pages prior to our online store. You may order five samples at a time using this form which will be cut pieces. Should you require full sized tiles or small decorative pieces for sampling, these will be charged for at the prevailing rate and will incur a carriage charge. To make arrangements for a full sized sample please call 0843 289 6059 or use the contact form on this website Samples cannot be credited towards a further purchase in store. Sample tiles will be delivered within 3-5 working days.

Prices and Delivery Charges

The prices payable for the items we offer for sale are clearly displayed on this site in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any excise duties and VAT payable unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include the costs of delivery. Delivery charges are nonrefundable unless returning damaged or faulty products. You must inform us within 3 working days of any shortfall or damage. You must make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of products when we deliver them in accordance with the stated delivery times for the delivery charge you have paid. If you do not accept delivery of the products or we are unable to deliver or are delayed in delivering products because of your actions or omissions then we may charge you and you will be liable to pay us for all costs we incur. Please note: All delivery charges are for orders made online only and don’t apply to those orders made in store. Delivery charges for store orders will differ according to the quantity ordered and your area. Important Notice: Orders are delivered by various carriers, due to insurance and health and safety regulations we are unable to transport any goods into a property. Many of our deliveries will arrive on a pallet and will be delivered to the nearest accessible location, this may be kerbside.

Cancellations

You have the legal right to cancel your order up to 7 days (excluding Saturdays Sundays and bank holidays) after the day following placing your order by informing us that you wish to cancel. If you cancel your order after its dispatch you must return to us the products you do not wish to keep (at your own cost) and we will give you a full refund. However if we are required to collect the order we will deduct our reasonable costs in having to do so. Checks to make before fitting We advise you to buy tiles, borders and decors from the same range, as the tiles may be sourced from different suppliers which may result in a slight variation in size/colour. Please check your tiles carefully before fixing. Shade variation is a design feature of most of our tiles. Tiles from different boxes should be mixed prior to fitting. If for any reason you are not happy with your tiles, we cannot accept the responsibility after the tiles have been fixed. Please ensure you are happy with your tiles before you start any project.

Returns

In addition to your right to cancel your order we accept returns in accordance with our returns policy set out below.

Return in Store

To return undamaged stock item(s) to a store simply take your item(s) and your sales order receipt to your nearest branch. Subject to the return being accepted you will receive the appropriate refund excluding delivery charges. Please allow 30 days to process your refund once the return has been accepted. The refund will be credited to the payment card account of the full amount (excluding delivery charges). If returning a faulty or damaged item to a store, it should be done within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Simply take the item and your sales order receipt to your nearest store. You will receive a full refund including the delivery charge. Refunds are paid within 30 days of receipt of the returned order.

Return of Online and Special Orders

We are unable to accept for return any special order items or items ordered online.

Description of goods

All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. We always endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are correct, but advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and any work to be carried out.

Planning

We suggest that you do not schedule any installation work until you have received your item(s). This will enable you to resolve any technical questions or to order specific additional fittings if necessary. Reed Harris cannot be held responsible for any third party costs incurred due to planning ahead.

Claims

No claims will be entertained once tiles have been fixed. No claims will be entertained due to the late arrival of goods. Customers are advised to wait for their goods to arrive, carefully check that all are correct before fixing or engaging the services of a tiler / tradesman. Reed Harris will accept no claims for wasted labour.

Storage

A storage charge of £1.00 per day plus VAT will be made for any order that remains uncollected from our warehouse(s) after 30 days.

Ownership of Rights

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to us. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, noncommercial use is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute or re-post something on this website for any purpose.
